It always starts with a story.
For me, cinematography is at its core storytelling.
It’s the conveying of ideas and feelings through framing, movement and light, all to serve the story we’re trying to tell.
Whatever the technology, whatever the production size, this always remains key for me.
Originally from Montreal and now based in Vancouver, I’ve been telling my stories and the stories of others for as long as I remember, and I can’t picture myself doing anything other than that.
